My Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice is located in a quiet, private setting in Letchworth Garden City. I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy and counselling services to individuals, couples and families. I typically draw clients from Letchworth, Hitchin, Stevenage, Baldock, Henlow, Royston, Biggleswade and the surrounding villages.

Examples of some issues which are brought to me for counselling include depression and anxiety, relationship difficulties, stress, lack of confidence, low self-esteem, bereavement, anger, family problems, sexuality or identity issues, long-standing emotional difficulties, illness, loneliness, isolation and inner emptiness, a sense of futility or meaninglessness, or indeed anything else which is troubling you.
There are many reasons why people seek therapy: unhappy relationships, troubled thoughts, difficult feelings or behaviour or bodily symptoms may all be signs that we have tried to deal with problems by putting them out of our minds. Often events in our formative years influence our current feelings and choices. With a therapist’s help it is possible to understand these experiences and make sense of how they have arisen and continue to affect us.
Counselling and Psychotherapy provides an opportunity to talk and think about issues in a safe and completely confidential environment. Therapeutic work can be focussed on a particular difficulty and take a short time, or be more wide ranging and deeper and take longer.
