I am a Psychodynamic Counsellor accredited by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and I adhere to its ethical framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy.
I am a registrant of UKRCP (UK Register of Independent Counsellors).
I am also a qualified as a Supervisor, having trained with Cambridge Supervision Training.
I completed my eight year in-depth and practical training with a postgraduate clinical qualification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at wpf Therapy in London, which is recognised and renowned as one of the leading and well-respected counselling and psychotherapy training organisations in the UK. wpf‘s rigorous professional programmes which are both long and intensive, take place over several years. I have over ten years experience of long and short term work as a counsellor and psychotherapist working for local counselling agencies, Primary Care/GP/NHS and EAP referals and in Private Practice. I also have considerable experience of lecturing on counselling courses in both college and counselling foundation environments.
