My practice is located in a quiet, private setting in Letchworth Garden City, ideally located for North Hertfordshire. I am an experienced, well-established psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist, offering counseling therapy to individuals. Having had over ten years clinical experience, I have built up a respected reputation in the area, offering a highly professional and personal service. Whatever you may be struggling with, I would be pleased to meet with you, so that we can ascertain together whether I can be of help to you.
Some examples of issues brought to me for counselling might include depression and anxiety, bereavement, stress, panic attacks, identity or sexuality problems, lack of confidence or low self-esteem, anger management, phobias, family problems, separation and divorce, long-standing emotional difficulties, illness, loneliness and isolation, inner emptiness, a sense of futility or meaninglessness or indeed anything else which is troubling you.
I also have a special interest in working with psychodynamic counselling/psychotherapy students or trainees required to be in personal therapy.
A part of my current practice is to offer psychodynamic and integrative counselling supervision to student counsellors and psychotherapists as well as qualified practitioners interested in developing clinical practice and theoretical understanding as part of their continual professional development.
I also supervise for the Hitchin Counselling Service, a local voluntary organisation founded 15 years ago.
I hold a Certificate in Supervision from Cambridge Supervision Training, Adlerian Society (ASIIP) and offer reduced fees while training.
